Originally thought to be a new form of Geist Grimm, Golems are a type that are normally subterranean  Their more favored territories are in caves, mountains or any form of underground caverns.

A Golem's body is 95% semi-liquid putty that can harden when used for combat. The only parts to a Golem that are solid all the time are the skull, and several bone fragments on it's back.

Several hunters encountered a Golem while traveling though the Mines of Moira. The beast proved to be capable of forming weapons such as axes, blades, finger spikes and hammers out of its black putty.

Melee attacks prove to be ineffective against the creature, anything that is cut off or blasted off has no effect. The Golem will either bring the body part back to the central mass, or regenerate a new limb to replace the last. It's skull is not a weakness; if damaged or receives drama  it only angers the beast, not weaken it. Shooting it with regular bullets is also ineffective.

The only way to harm/destroy the beast is though the use of temperature based weapons of either hot or cold. Cold weapons freeze the beast to the point that it can no longer move. Heat forces the beast to harden and do the same amount of damage to it as ice would.

The only known case of defeating a Golem was when Weiss Schnee used her glyphs and Ice Dust to freeze the Golem solid, and then finished off with a double strike by Yang Xao Long and Nora Valkyrie in the frozen skull. As a result, the beast shattered to bits and fragments, and eventually evaporated into nothing.
